Welcome to the Linlithgow Primary School website. This website includes a great deal of information about our school including staffing, pupil council, school council, term dates, school newsletters and examples of work going on in our classes.  We hope you find what you are looking for, if you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us.

About our school

Linlithgow Primary is a non-denominational school in the west of Linlithgow.  There is provision for 15 classes from P1-P7 and a nursery with spaces for 110 children. The building is well resourced and attractive having been recently refurbished as part of a Public Private Partnership.  There is a spacious gym/assembly hall, dining hall/stage, library, 3 GP rooms, and various other attractive spaces.  There are playground facilities at the front and rear, and a sports field.  The school is a feeder for Linlithgow Academy to where most of our P7s transfer.  There are strong links with the academy and with other primary schools in the cluster.  The school also offers Wraparound care for 24 children in the nursery and a Kingfisher after-school club for older children. 

Our Uniform
Our uniform is made up of a selection of blue and white outfits. We have royal blue sweatshirts and cardigans, light blue and white polo shirts, grey or black trousers, skirt and pinafore, a school tie and white shirt.

Linlithgow Primary School was first opened on 14th April 1967 and by the time it was refurbished in 2003 it had a 3 stream intake over two sites, Preston Road and West Port, making it a very large school.  The refurbished building was opened on the 3rd of March 2003 with a reduced roll of two streams on one site at Preston Road.
