29 Sep 2009 - Visit from Mrs Voight, Heritage Elementary, Texas

As part of a twinning arrangement between West Lothian Council and Grapeville-Colleyville Independent Schools District in Texas, Linlithgow Primary was very excited to welcome Mrs Stacey Voight, Principal of Heritage Elementary School.

Mrs Voight was greeted at LPS with both the US national flag and the Texas State flag, we hope this helped to make her feel welcome.

Mrs Voight was in school on Friday for the PSA Macmillan Coffee Morning and seemed to enjoy the selection of home baking available.

 

Two of our P7 pupils, Chloe and Anna interviewed Mrs Voight for our LPS Radiowaves station.  A recording of the interview can be listened to on the Radiowaves site (see the LINKS section).
